MAF sensor prob??

would a faulty MAF unit cause the car to cut out when driving,thanx

Thanks for the offer,will keep that in mind mate,car cut out the day,wouldnt start ,bout 3hrs later tried it again-nothing,then unplugged maf plug and it went.drove it home 14 miles everything fine,dont know if it was coincidental

can anyone help with the question if maf would cut engine out when driving,thanx
