2wd Heatshield not ideal, but it will do...

Well, i recieved my 2WD heatshield today and it was damaged in transit which absolutley pissed me off



But after some slight mods and a different bracket made, i made it fit

I know its not an Escy Heatshield ( WHICH I WILL GET ONE DAY ) but it looks loads better than the Nimbus stuff i fitted last week.........







Think she deserves a good fettle now and a run out

That looks at home there. Will a normal Escort one fit properly without cutting it to clear the strut brace?

In fairness, that one that is fitted now looks the business so you may not have to butcher an escort one.

i must be lucky then as my heatshield fits ok under me ford strut brace. i think thats the thing with these they were made to fit a std heatshield,i don't think i could bring meself to start chopping
