I think when it comes to shows its all about expectations and standards.. you can pick faults with every car and not many are perfect despite some of the owners thinking they are. The shows are not just about some perfect examples of RS's its more a social event and putting names to faces.
People that go around pointing out faults on other peoples cars need to get a life
So bring it don't worry about the imperfections on your car.. lifes far too short

dom. for a start a bloke who races everything on the road should take it up the strip! as for stand,either dont stress about the splitter or take it off.as paul says no car is perfect,they are bloody old now and will have useage showing and its expected.mines far from perfect bud. as for the drive up,if you are meeting people to travel up with imo it is more of the fun.driving up on your own is shit but in a group and a bit of fun on the motorways is great.

to me the shows are more social tbh,a chance to meet new faces and catch up on old ones i cant see because they live miles away

my car is far from perfect and I don't care what others think, I enjoy it and use it. I do get this question asked a lot when booking tickets, we are all there just to meet up and have a good crack

dont worry dude.jon from here shows his and he isnt fussed.neither are we.it has loads of odd stickers and red wing mirrors(the car is mallard) they arent all concours and never would be
