A very varied bunch, excellent answers ,all of them.

I am surprised and quite happy to hear just how many of you have a similar attitude to the car as my self.

        I'm number 4......

Always wanted one. Always. Now have one, but in a stable of cars. So it gets driven when I want to (rain or shine), and it doesn't want for anything. It was SORN'd over the winter, but to be honest only 'Bob' and the Range Rover had anything over a few hundred miles put on them over the winter.

It was bought really nicely modified, and it's only had a pair of AP 6 pots on the front since arriving to me (and a fleece cover!). It's not driven more as I don't NEED to - it gets driven when I want the giggle of the sounds at the front of the engine (wastegate etc), rather than the thunder that come from the back of the other cars. I guess it's also a 17 year old car - drive it like a modern car, and you'll not like it so much. Treat it with respect, and you'll have a lot more fun.

        See you on the roads...

Mines a weekend toy & although hasnt been used since june due to house distractions,I do use it at least once a week while its taxed.I leave it in car parks, use it in rain & even used it to move house with, but mine is stone chipped, full of little dents & has some scabs on it & I dont care! I have had cars really spotless & darnt use them for sick of worry,so I decided not to get too possessive with the escos when I bought one.Mine is far from mint but not terrible either.

#3 here. I just wanna drive the shit out of it. It's what it's supposed to do anyways so I've got shitty paint, scratches and faults, but when it's on boost, sideways, tyres smoking, nothing compares to it

Who else is like me. Who else just drives them with far too much power and just loves the car every day
                1 and 3

I deleted all that does not apply to me ,deffo dont care about miles put on it .

I did drive it 4500 miles round Europe last year after all [have i mentioned that before]

Car is a right old mess to look at frankly,Frank ,but not bothered about that either, but would love to have a full respray in a different colour

Now that the cos is broken [again] i dont know how long before i begin to miss driving it ,
probably when the weather improves and i miss shows as i dont really wanna turn up in my Fiesta and see a line of cossies and mine is at home with no gears

Nr3 for me, i have use ikt for every day car in 7 years, whit 330 kit, parked it winter time for last 2 years because of this shit salty roads around here. Have a new build engine, but the petrol price is going to ruin the every day use, when i got it mapped whit bigger injectors, turbo etc.
I have drive Cosworth for daily use since 96, and alot of miles

                    Me?

                    Definitely number............................................ .....3!!!

What's the bloody thing for if not to use it. Wouldn't it be a real shame going to shows and someone asks you how far you've driven it since you bought it? NONE!!!

Me, miles and miles and miles!!! And as I don't drink (too much), do drugs (apart from Anadin) or bet, then my money goes on my car!!

And compared to someone who keeps theirs in a garage 51 weeks a year, who has the biggest grin!!?

                              PMSL you guys
Nice to see nearly all of us have the same attitude to the ESCOS.
So, its not just a Toy then and is still a firm favorite for every day use
Uhmmm If I had had to put cash on the outcome so far I would have lost.
is King of the road then.
