  • Worst car you ever OWNED

Gotta be a alfa me and a mate went halfs on,we bought it from our local scrap yard who did a roaring trade in cheepies. its amazing now what some people scrap rather than fix or as its so old and not worth much they think they get rid for nowt or next to nowt.
Anyway the Alfa lasted 1/2 a hr and the gearbox went which was odd as it was previously mint so we took it back the scrapyard and it went 2 high 5 mins later. we never even had time to pay for it as we were on the way to the cash machine for the reddies

i have to say all the alfas i see in the auctions are shit, they sound crap and are worth next to nowt. how anyone pays pistonheads prices for alfas is beyond me.

if you gave me a alfa for free i would scrap it and put it out of its misery

Sierra. It was a 1.6 and gutless. Felt like I needed to get out and push it up hills.

Never really had a really bad car. Although the Escort cosworth has let me down a few times with silly things like an altenator, loose connection in the fuel tank, snapped pinch bolt on tca (that was serious but was going very slow at the time) and recently has taken to dying out (although I hope that is cured now. I have a wee Alfa 147 only once did it let me down and that was only a crank sensor. Oh shit me cossie seem's to be the worst

                            Hi Ship Mate!
I bought a Fiat 125 (or something very close to that number from the Car sales on the corner at Eastham). It was £100 back in 1989. I had it while Carrillo were making me a set of low compression racing rods for my Turbo Cavalier. The first day I bought it I went to the Esso garage, which is now a block of flats a Cemetery gates . I got about 5 gallon into the tank when the car lurched to the right and dropped 5 inches. The weight of the fuel had burst the shockers through the rear arch

thats because fiats are related to alfas,i never mention fiats after i once owned a fiat x19 that amazingly i sold for more than what it cost but my dad owned a fiat strada and a fiat croma both in ceylon green met which is a sickly sweet pale green met

they both had a type of beige interior that the italians should be ashamed of making

i remember saying to my dad as a little kid............... dad buy a mk2 escort rs2000 they are the same money but no he bought a new strada from cowies fiat
