  • In Progress - Rattle on tickover??

When the cossie is on tickover I get a rattle which is bloody annoying, when I press the clutch pedal down it goes away, whats this likely to be??

Need to start planning next years expenditure

    1. Fix rattle on tickover
    2. Slight oil leak to resolve
    3. Hydraulic clutch conversion
    4. Head gasket replacement / head porting

it's better when cold but I think thats because the engine is idling a bit quicker and not vibrating as much.

so a clutch release bearing is what? is this something that can be replaced when the clutch is done or is it independent of all that?

box out jobbie Andy! so would have to be done at the same time as the clutch

They all do that to a greater or lesser degree (depending on condition) - it is the transfer box chain rattling.
