A lot of the rallyX guys use Carbon clutches. I did look at Carbon/Carbon clutches but at 3000 quid they are simply outwith my budget. I have heard that some good second hand parts might be available but i've not checked up on that.

I agree with your choice of 7 1/2", much lighter and reduced Moment of Inertia, combined with a good flywheel, up to 12kg can be saved.

No need wenny a twin plate 4 paddle is fine it's what we use in the escos and it does as many 0-60s as poss full bore launches

Obviously not as much santa pod abuse as you but alot more track use and with alot more torque

them escort wrc carbon clutches sorted the men out from the boys regards prices infact all the transmission prices did. I do remember i think Mike Pattison who owns E.A.R.S relining the carbon wrc clutches so they would go again.

Ligghter than std thats for sure

You don't want too light a clutch and flywheel set up it makes a pig to get off the line

                          I have one lol.....

you re-shim them carl, you measure the stack height and adjust with a shim accordingley....the wrc one is 200mm onto a unique flywheel.....they do last longer but we've never had any trouble with paddle clutches.....

I have used Tiltons tripple carbon awsome clutch, I have also used Exedy tripple carbon this has 3 carbon discs and the other parts are metal so is limited by these, It is a nice road clutch,
The Tilton is a all out race clutch, Let it cool down between launchs as this will make it last longer.
