Suggestion for forum update on features etc?

This is just a suggestion and something that IMO the site could benefit from and just wondered what you guy's thought, and more importantly if it's doable (sp)

Having started my own project thread on here I started the thread title off as I would have done on say PF for instance, in entitling the thread relevant to my first update etc, it was only when I wanted to post another update and went to change the actual thread title that I discovered I couldn't do it!

After speaking with Kelv he has kindly amended it for me to just read something neutral for now.

What do others think about being able to actually change your thread titles yourselves to show that there is an update on your thread and let others see that we've been working away on our cars!? Obviously it is not an option to PM a mod/admin everytime you want your thread title changed! Although maybe we could keep Franco busy with thos

Dan are you sure you can't? you press edit, then advanced settings then change it there?

Yes checked a few times Paul and so did mboon and Kelv, it changes it 'within' the post but once you've clicked save changes and gone back to the project room the old or first thread title still appears, yet when you go edit again it is shown but only to you as a user/member

Kelv did have a look at it for me the other night and said that it had to be a mod to do it

On PF it's easy mate, click EDIT, then click GO ADVANCED and you can change the thread title in that page Peice of cake and what it should be able to do on here

Great! basically it had a 5 minute time limit applied to how long you had to adjust it, so I've removed it completely
