Pass on that mate, is the tube not already in the block

Edit, I guess you mean to bolt the breather on

I drilled through into the waterway, but put blue hylomar on the bolt threads and it hasn't caused any problems. If you drill through the slightly raised/webbed part of the block (you'll see what I mean when you offer the breather can up), you'll be safe drilling about 10mm deep. I tapped my block M4, but if I was going to do it again, I'd do it M5.

Alternatively, make up a small bracket and bolt it to both the breather can and to one of the engine mount bolts.

I know the bracket is on the wrong side to yours but could you not make a braket to bolt up the same as this?

all i did was cut a slot into the tab and it sits behind one of the inlet nuts with a couple of washers like above as i didnt like the idea of drilling the block like the pic above

OH FUCK WHAT WAS THAT NOISE

POSTING ON MARKS LOG IN the power was coming in well up the rev range and the inlet cam timing was found to be out slightly. there was a missfire as well which is down to the engine loom so martin is looking into that for me ill give him a bell later on today to see if there is any news
