mate do you happen to no what the towing weight of a transit 140 sport swb van is.

i have a rs3 race shuttle to transport cars with but i wanted to find out what i am able to tow before i am over weight.

thanks duncan , i think the trailer is around 900kgs on its own i will need to check, and the car will be in and around 1250 / 1275 i hope so thats 2175 total. 3500 gross - 2175 only gives the van 1325. if its any more i would be over weight.. need to no the weight of the van now ..

You need a light trailer & car for any or the swb transits

you need to look at the train weight .... Higher is better

I would say none of the swb transits will be high enough for a trailer + car

i didnt no you could get one with 200 bhp blacky, i thought 135 was the big transit,

i have a 08 lwb merc sprinter i use for fitting carpet, i can use it to tow with ok but a spare van would be great so every thing for the car ect can stay inside the van all the time,

i liked the swb sport just because it was shorter ..
