Clock colour

Hi , i have been experimenting with lighting the clock with EL material instead of the original bulb. It matches the instruments much better , what do youthink?

pic show my own dials which i have not refurbed yet. the clock colour matches the new dial material spot on and pretty close to original.

You can buy blue one's off EBAY for £25 iirc for a MK5 Escort, which has the same clock face. I was thinking about it, but wasn't sure how it would look.

Using EL material it is a green/blue like the dash , not true blue like the led one on ebay.

If anyone has their dials done by me i can do this too ,free as there is a spare bit of material left just the right size.
