BT Fibre Optic BroadBand

Just had a call from BT saying Fibre Optic was availible down my road

Its up to 40mb but the tests show I'll get 18mb download 7.5mb upload. Was £24.99 pcm with no limits.

I phoned Virgin and its still not availible down my road and he started telling me they are the only Fibre Optic providers..

I did it on the phone so you get 14days cool off from the start date by law as far as I'm aware

paul you will get more than that all the ones i have done i have not seen anything below 30 meg mate

How much is that costing monthly? I download quite a few films for my IPhone, so something that fast would be good

i only got the baby package from Virgin, ie 10MB download, with 0.8MB upload and in fairness, we get that day in day out. 10mb is perfect for what I use, as unless downloading or streaming content then any more is a bit too much.
