Hybrid Cars?

Are there any decent looking hybrid cars out there? With the current cost of petrol and car tax running 2 cars is expensive. As I've seen more hybrid cars I've literally just thought it maybe worth buying one for the cheaper cost?? It would be a daily car only and probably encourage me to use the escort more.

What's the pros and cons?

fella i know got well and truly stuck with a electric berlingo,was a right old thing out of a electricity company of all things but he couldn't sell the fookin thing

well mate the difference between the berlingo and say a toyota hybrid thingmy was the berlingo had no donkey only a load of batterys,that meant it was very limited in use.
great if your the duke of westminster and use it on the estate but courrier work would of been a big no no .

not even sure if you can just buy a electric only mainstream motor these days

heres a bit of info about electric berlingos,they are mot and tax exempt and you could get 25% goverment grant discount off the list price of £15000 sovs which lets face it a electricity board powerstation does not need as they have all the money and the electric too. 60 miles to a charge no wonder they are shit http://www.carpages.co.uk/citroen/ci...1_25_07_03.asp
