  • sand blasting the underside of a car?

    would this be a good job or should i opt for something else my serria has been lying for nearly a year out side and there's a good bit of surface rust on underside was thinkng this would be the easiest way and def get all the surface rust off!! hugh

    you could do that Hugh or you can get a grinder with a wire wheels and clean it that way(thats what i done)

      i used the grinder for the ecos but was thinking on doing this to the saph as there's not really any under seal on the serria's just to get it to metal

              clean with petrol then look how it is once dried
              then use the conical wire wheel on agrinder sand blasting will get sand everywhee and cause problems with paintwork and maybe even running issues later on

                oooh never knew that,
                well use the wire wheel Hugh and i also used a hammarite gel type cleaning for the bare metal to help prevent rust
