Saff Radiator into escos. Fan swicth?

Do i have to change the fan switch if i use a radiator and fans from a saff cos in the escos?

yes.

the fan switch in a saph is a single stage one, the one in an escos is two stage. Different connectors as well.

although you could hack about with the loom if you wanted.

All depends what loom you have in the car, what comes with the fans etc etc.

Im sure most people here would agree that youd be better off ripping out the fan loom and fitting a newer loom from fraser on here as 15-20 year old wiring will be shoddy as fuck by now.

The single stage switch is an UPGRADE on an Escort, as the twin stage one is WANK and the temps hover around 100°C all the time in hard use if retained, so keep the Sapphire one .

Sapph fan loom is only £50 or £60 IIRC from Fraser and comes with a manwell fan turny ony toggle switch too Really must get round to fitting mine lol
