mike, all daves fuel system is in car, so a undercar swirl pot would be no good ! (if that is what you ment by pics on your thread ?)
the pro alloy tank has a built in swirl pot im sure dave said cant remember now, so the idea was to run the -10 feed into 2 044 fuel pumps and straight to rail
cutting out the need for a external fuel swirl pot in car
Yes Daves run the internal fuel collector as does mine, Pro claim it's good enough to not warrant the need for an external swirl pot aswell.
Alledgedly!

That is why I asked to see his set-up, as I didn't think the norm would be of any use to him .

so, how can the very same pump be perfectly good enough to cater for Martoons 800 bhp (ish)
Dave I'm assuming you run the speed adjuster (or whatever it's called) which should keep it cooler, I'm sure Rainbird had the same issue!!
Dave hasn't got the controller, so as you know from my experience, the pump gets too hot and then the fuel supply gets erratic. WOT cured this with a fuel cooler in the boot. But I would personally go down the proven route, as you could experiment like this and still find it wanting - which is why I went for two 2wd pumps.
