Guys.. anyone familiar with Potterton boilers? its a 50e if thats any use

Just moved in to a new house with LPG.. and the boiler has started to lock out I think...

Shuts down even though we have two full 47kg tanks of gas feeding it

is it overheating?

I take it you have checked to see if the gas bottles are turned on?

Is the emergency gas cock switched on, which will be on the copper pipework after the regulator by the bottles?

Need more details than what you have given to find out what boiler it is, i know the make, need to know which model it is? 50e isnt enough, is it a combi? floor standing or wall hung?

There will be a data badge somewhere that will give you all this info, if you find a G.C. No:- i should be able to find out from there what boiler you have?

does it lock out once the heating has been on for a few minutes ? or straight away when it trys to light ? as if its the first one then check your pump is working as if not the boiler will be getting to warm and then lock out or if its the second one then there is loads more thinks it could be
