  • ANOTHER new descision re Kaliber

Looking at the parts prices i cant justify doing it and making the car undrivable.....i mean £1300 for a plenum and about the same for a t4

SO at the current moment its going onto the T34 .48 and being a fast road car.

At the moment i am fitting a new water pump and thermostat and giving it a service, oh and its now running the watercooled power steering pot

The money saved will go towards my next toy...Ferrari? Noble? CSL?

A good CSL will NOT depreciate.

    A 2007 E90 M3 will be £34 to 36k depending on spec and mileage.

A good (low mileage) 2003 CSL is still in the £30's .

I already have one habit to feed, I don't need another (well, not until I can't fight the need any longer) .

Because there are only a few hunded RHD cars (522 if memory serves me correctly), some of those have been written off and so they will start to appreciate at some point (like the RS500s).

£25k is bottom money for one, so I'd check it thoroughly.

Good ones hover around the £30k mark. Really good ones exceed it (I know a low mileage black one up for nearly £35k ).

A Noble is not in the same league, you're comparing what is effectively a kit car (more so than a Lotus even ), with a car built by a company with a multi-billion pound budget, not built by a bloke in a shed in Leceistershire (albeit a VERY clever bloke) .

The CSL is the better car (to anyone that knows ANYTHING about cars) - it just doesn't look as nice as the Fezza to the "common" man (or more importantly "common slutty" woman ).

I'd probably take one over a CSL but hardly Ferrari's finest hour I'd struggle to call it a Supercar.

EDIT: Actually, i'm wavering on that decision already.

                            Wrong!

422 Uk cars Mike so even rarer (WELL under that left after just 7 years!)! 25K is definately not bottom money for one, I have a friend who paid under 20k for one with around 72k on the clock and it's perfect in every way and STILL drives like new! You can get very good 50k cars with AP's for around 23k!

I didn't pay anywhere near 30k for mine and it's that clean I could do modified concours with it!

The Black car is also over priced, it is or was for sale with Nick Johnson in Abindgon who specialises in CSL's and RS4's, it does have just 6350 on the clock though but never worth the asking price!

Noble's don't have a very good reputation of being reliable which is something that put me off them, also I think I've had enough of ridiculous spoilers for a little while!
                            M3 CSL is here!
