  • Fuel cut inertia switch facing up ur front??? (NOW FIXED)

My inertia switch was held on with 1 screw and Im not sure it was in the correct orientation. Which way does the red button face Up or forward. Mine is forward. but you cant get your finger in the hole and reach the button if you have to reset?

Surprises me know one could help , however it was mounted the wrong way facing forward so i've pointed the red plunger upwards. Cant see how some one could manage to screw it in wrong but they did

Mines an early 92 model ( dont think it makes a difference) and the switch is behind the passenger's side footwell kick panel. There is a little hole with cover to get your fingers in to reset the switch.
ive found another unit/module under the drivers seat bolted to the floor and dont know what that is for? Cars back in the Barn, but if you cant find the switch i will open up today and take a picture. But once you find the small plastic hole with twist out cap you will easily see the Red switch.

The one under the drivers seat is something to do with speed sensor unit I think
