ok never use the escos so I have a dilemma I have 30k to spend on a everyday car now I know I won't have it long as I always change cars so either looking to make a few bucks or not lose that much when I sell in a few months time. Now I have 3 in mind. A v8 m3. A c63 coupe/saloon. Or new focus rs. A mate close would sell me his for 30k as he needs cash quick. But not sure what I would have. Anyone had experience with above??

if you can get a focus for £30k id snap it up,unless its a poor spec, you shouldnt lose much on that in 6 months or so

My Dad has an E92 M3, he bought it earlier this year. Looking at prices for low mileage Comp pack cars I would say they are level at the moment. £30k should just about get you one of those.

His is fully loaded 7 Speed with 12k miles on it. I've had a go in it twice and it is an amazing machine!

My next door neighbor sold his C63 earlier in the year. He declared it the best engine and the worst gearbox / car he has ever had. He has chopped and changed and had some great motors. Sapphire Cossies, GTRs etc and now had a Golf R.

He just said the engine was fantastic and wanted to do so much but the crap gearbox and chassis weren't up to the job. He also had various faults with it which didn't help.

Most seem to get swayed by the C63's sound and abit more torque but soon get bored.
then go to an M3 and sayits is a better all round package.

          what about a V8 vantage?

Had an e46 m3 years ago and liked it. Done everything I wanted. As for Aston. Not so sure on them. Used to work for jm group and used to paint them. Heard a few things about them from the mechanics so prob wouldn't buy one of those
I like the m3 but I still not sure if I would miss the turbo of the rs. Christ knows lol
